Sofía Méndez Subieta es una artista interdisciplinaria de Cochabamba, Bolivia. Tiene una MFA de la Universidad de Nuevo Mexico, y un BA de Grinnell College. Su trabajo ha sido publicado por Engaging Collections & The Grinnell Review y ha sido exhibido nacional e internacionalmente. Fue artista en residencia en el Wormfarm Institute en las temporadas del 2020, 2022, y 2023; fue una SITE Scholar en el 2022. Conforma parte del proyecto colaborativo Yelling Pillow.

Sofía Méndez Subieta is an interdisciplinary artist from Cochabamba, Bolivia. She received an MFA from the University of New Mexico and a BA from Grinnell College. Mendez’ work has been published by Engaging Collections & The Grinnell Review as well as exhibited both nationally and internationally.
